If this is only happening while the hot water is running, refer to the water heater section on how to flush the unit. If it is coming from both hot and cold lines, it is most likely corrosion or rust in the pipes—that would require a contractor to correct. Under the terms of our Plan, we do not provide coverage for chemical buildup or rusted pipes. Pipes must be actually leaking due to normal wear and tear to be covered under the Plan.
