    How do I request service?

    Check your plan to see if your home system or appliance is listed as covered. Then contact us to place your service request.

    • Confidence: research and hire a contractor of your choosing to service your home
    • Control: use one of our network service providers or pick a different qualified contractor in your area—it's up to you!
    • Convenience: schedule service on your terms, at a time that works best for you

    Follow these steps to choose a qualified contractor in your area

    • Contact us to place a service request.
    • Schedule diagnosis with a qualified, licensed contractor who charges a fair and reasonable rate to render service.
    • The contractor must call 800.858.4488 with their diagnosis and a cost breakdown, including parts and labor. IMPORTANT: To receive reimbursement for covered services, we must provide authorization before the contractor performs any work.
    • We'll provide an Authorization Number and dollar amount for covered services, and the service provider initiates the covered repair.
    • Upon completion of authorized services, you'll receive an itemized invoice from the contractor.
    • Pay the contractor directly for services rendered and submit your paid invoice and Authorization Number to us for reimbursement less the trade call fee due per trade.

    How do I submit my invoice for reimbursement?

    If you requested service and we authorized you to use your own contractor, please use one of the following methods for submitting your invoice(s). To avoid processing delays, please include your name, Plan Number, and covered property address on all correspondence.

    • We'll find and dispatch a service provider to provide a diagnosis.*
    • The service provider will call you to schedule an appointment during normal business hours.
    • You pay the trade call fee or the actual cost of service, whichever is less, to the service provider.
    • Once covered service is complete, the service provider bills us directly.

    *Our network is not all inclusive for every trade, in every town, across the nation. For that reason, we may authorize you to contact an independent out-of-network contractor directly to obtain service.
